The fly ash consists of a waste product from thermoelectric power plants using coal as fuel. Initially, tests were performed containing ash before performing any grinding process. New mortars were produced and tests were performed containing ground fly ash in their compositions, whereas there was a ten-minute period for grinding in a ball mill.
